pirate-ch-14.jpgIn today’s segment of the pirate theme party blog, I will continue the adventures of the Parrot Pirates. In the last chapter, Petey had something to tell Guy but wanted to fill his stomach first. Come back to the pirate theme party blog often to see more updates on the Parrot Pirates.

Petey’s tummy was full now and he needed to find a way to get Guy Burgess away from the rest of the pirates. He needed some type of diversion but he didn’t want to catch the attention of Captain Wellington because he was sure that he’d become suspicious. The rest of the pirates seemed pretty much oblivious. They had been drinking rum with their boar so they weren’t going to be a problem. Just as he was about to make his move, the ships navigator, Kim Philby, stood up and addressed the squad. “Here here!” “Everybody pay heed.” “Tonight our stomachs are full and the rum has gone down on an empty stomach, & it’s all because of Petey the Parrot!” “I say we cast our lot with this fellow & rename ourselves the Parrot Pirates!” The rest of the group cheered, even Captain Wellington. Petey was sullen. He had hoped he could escape these morons but now it looks like he was stuck with them.

pirate-ch-13.jpgIn today’s pirate theme party blog, I will continue the adventures of Guy, Captain Wellington, Petey and the Parrot Pirates. In the last episode, Petey narrowly avoided a grisly fate by surprisingly stumbling across a boar.

When Petey woke up he was very groggy. He could here the sound of drunken singing in the background and the smell of roasted meat was everywhere. The food looked delicious, and although most birds were not meat eaters, Petey loved the taste of roasted meat. “I saved ya some meat!” Guy said excitedly. “Boy, if you hadn’t found that boar, I’d have been tempted to eat my shoe.” Petey looked at the meat, then back up to Guy. He needed to clue this idiot pirate in on what that treasure was really about, but was also famished. All that flying had siphoned off the last of his food for that day and was now beginning to dip into his fat tummy. He decided it could wait. Filling his stomach was his first priority. He started to dig into the pork when he realized that the crew must have a great cook. There was a limited amount of resources but somehow the cook had managed to make this a succulent feast. So much for the poor pig.

Pirate Theme Party: Captain Wellington and the Parrot Pirates Ch. 12

pirate121.jpgIn today’s pirate theme party blog, I will continue the frightening adventures of Captain Wellington, Guy, the Parrot Pirates, and of course Petey. The last time we saw Petey, he was searching for a boar. If he doesn’t find it, he’ll be roasted for dinner tonight! Check the pirate them party blog for more updates.

Petey was really starting to get worried now. He could hear Captain Wellington from below threatening that he was going to cook him for dinner. He was getting really tired of flying and knew he would have to land soon just to catch his breath. At that moment, he heard a loud “CRACK,” and then saw something buzz past his ear. From below, Captain Wellington said “Consider that a warning shot across the bow Petey! I’m a crack shot so you better find us that boar here real soon!” Petey couldn’t believe they were firing at him. He had to make a decision. He dove as fast as he could and made a break for it. He turned his head heard Captain Wellington and the Parrot Pirates screaming from behind and knew they were coming fast! When he turned around, he just realized he was flying right into a rock. He was sure this was the end of his fate. He hit the rock with stunning force and passed out. When he awoke, he was surrounded by pirate boots. “This is it,” he thought, “This is how I’m going to die.” Petey shut his eyes and awaited the bullet. They were taking forever. Were they just torturing him? “Come on!” Petey said. “Get it over with!” “What are you talking about Petey?” Guy asked. “We already shot the boar.” “Good job little guy!” Petey couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He got up and turned to see that behind the rock he had crashed into was a prize boar. It was enough for everyone to eat for days. Just then Petey passed out. pirate-11.jpgIn today’s pirate party idea blog, Petey is on his way to find a boar he doesn’t even know exists. It’s either find the boar or get eaten himself. Check back at the pirate party idea blog often for updates on Petey, Captain Wellington, Guy and the whole Parrot Pirate Gang!

“Whew!” Petey sighed. “I’m not used to flying so much. I’d much rather be sitting on someone’s shoulder!” Petey was getting nervous. It had been an hour now and he saw no sign of any boar or deer for that matter. Why didn’t these pirates just learn how to fish? He wouldn’t be able to get away from the pirates because there wasn’t another island in sight. Besides, he was not such a good flyer. He was fatter than most birds and tended to get tired quickly. He just wanted this to be over. He had done what the witch had asked him and had led Guy to the treasure, but the idiot didn’t realize the true value of what he had found. Now he was stuck with him. Ugghh! From below he could hear the calls from Captain Wellington. “Petey, you better find that boar soon or it’s gonna be roast duck for dinner tonight! Yikes, Petey thought. I better find a boar soon.

Pirate Party Idea: Captain Wellington and the Parrot Pirates Ch. 10

pirate-10.jpgToday I will be including the next installment of Captain Wellington and the Parrot Pirates in the pirate party idea blog. Keep track as Petey, Captain Wellington and Guy navigate the dangerous seas of the Caribbean.

Petey was upset! He had been sent here to meet Guy and now he has gotten himself mixed up with a bunch of pirates. Now he was going to have to lead them to a boar and he had no idea where to find one. He wasn’t even sure he had seen one on this island before. He should have never made that deal with the witch. He knew she was trouble from the moment he saw her there in that filthy hut. She had kidnapped him while he was resting on a palm leaf. She had told him that if he ever wanted to be free, he would have to find some pirate named Guy and lead him to the treasure of the island. He had no idea why, but he was more concerned with his freedom than he was this weird looking pirate. Perhaps he should have refused and at least enjoyed the safety of the old witches hut. Well, Petey thought, “I better see if I can find myself a boar.”
