Pirate Theme Party

In today’s pirate theme party blog, we will continue the adventures of Petey and the whole Parrot Pirate gang. In the last chapter, Petey was on his way to show Guy the secret treasure of Black Beard Island. Check the pirate theme party blog often for updates.

Petey was approaching the cave with Guy and Guy seemed to be in a bit of a trance. Perhaps he was still feeling the effects of all that run and pork. They reached the entrance of the cave only to see that it was lit from inside. Someone had placed a torch at the end of the cave but had left the treasure untouched. Petey’s first thought was that someone else had discovered the treasure, but then he thought better about it. This was the work of Guinevere, the voodoo priestess of the island. She wanted, of all people, Guy to discover the chests contents. This puzzled Petey, but he was more concerned with getting released from the hex that Guinevere had placed on him. In spite of the light, bats eerily lined the walls of the cave. Petey did not want to wake them so he kept a low profile. At just that moment, Petey heard a loud “CRACK” at the end of the cave …..
